After living here for a couple of years, I discovered there's this chap in the US called Dan Price who lives in a hole in the ground and has experimented with living in tents, benders and really small shacks for years. And he does this without going all mountain man and weird, and publishes a small magazine about his adventures called Moonlight Chronicles. Now some of the magazine's spreads are published on-line, and in color.
This is wildly inspiring stuff. I find it very hard to see anything by this hobo without being touched.
