Small scale Yule-time entrepeneur

The concept of keeping a tree inside obviously makes rather little sense in the cabin, but there are other situations where it seems like the thing to do. So here's me and my Swede saw bowing to the whims of civilized folk. Note that the saw and I are in matching colours.

I gave some trees to friends in The Towns. So these holidays they do not only have a tree, but a nice story to go with it too. I will surely ask for favours from them in due time, so thankfully that story that came with the tree is not about some dude handing out firs because he has nothing better to do, but about some kind of economic system, interconnectedness with others and so on.

I tried calculating how much I would have to sell the trees for in terms of normal money, if that was what I was into, and if it was going to make any economic sense but it made my head hurt. I also tried to imagine what it would take tin terms of infrastructure, machinery and bulk to be able to sell trees at the going rate while still making a profit, which made my head hurt even more.

First of all Merry Christmas and what beautiful trees. I think you decided that the "bartering" system was less a pain in the head, than "selling" your wares. You made a good choice!

Wise, very wise... you are thinking of the future... wish more people would...

money isn't everything... living a life you feel good about IS...

we put lights on a 7 1/2 foot cactus that I grew since it was 6 inches tall... 16 years worth... amazing plant really.. and it lives in just a very small amount of dirt...

and Lovely color contrast of your attire and nature...
