Stitching together pictures creates a warped perspective, in real life the roofline of the pen looks tolerably straight.
This dog pen system works well for me, as I logistics demand that I am often away for a while. Mushers usually keep their dogs on chains mounted on a swivel bar. This is OK if the dogs get exercise every single day and people are usually around. But in my situation I wanted a system where, if I had some misfortune or unforeseen business to attend to, the dogs would be totally comfortable on their own for a while.
