Up here, November is traditionally considered the very worst month for charging batteries with solar power. But the regulator still reports a state of charge around 70 %, despite almost daily use of the computer.
This is a bit better than I had expected. On the other hand, if I am going to set up some lights and cut down on my kerosene habit, I will have to expand the system.
So there you go. Panels rated at 180 watts and a battery bank of 550 Ah can be enough. Just.
