Three year old dog poop

Here's three year old dog poop-based compost. The ratio of nitrogen (poop) to carbon (straw and wood chips) seems to have turned out pretty well. It sure smells ok and will possibly used for some horticultural projects. This is not for carrots and beets, even in my household.

My compost based on food scraps and humanure (pretty segragated homestead I've got going here), on the other hand, doesn't look anything as nice. Probably because I haven't added enough carbon.
